cp-webdeskA few days after Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming film was renamed as Durgamati: The Myth, the trailer of the film was released today. It was earlier titled as Durgavati. Bhumi plays the lead role of an IAS officer in the film. Directed by G Ashok, Durgamati: The Myth is the remake of Telugu-Tamil film Bhaagamathie by the same director. Anushka Shetty played the lead role in the original film. Akshay Kumar is one of the producers of the film, which is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on December 11.
As promised by the makers, Durgamati: The Myth trailer is filled with many spooky moments. The trailer starts with some politicians conspiring against a good politician Ishwar Prasad, played by Arshad Warsi. Mahie Gill is seen in a strong role of a police officer who asks Chanchal Chauhan, played by Bhumi Pednekar, to betray Ishwar Prasad. Jisshu SenGupta is also seen in a prominent role.
