Vikram to replace Suriya in ‘Aruvaa’

After Suriya was supposed to start shooting for ‘Aruvaa’ with director Hari. The film was kickstarted with a pooja officially last March, and it has been delayed because of the Corona attack. But the film didn’t start rolling even though film shootings have resumed, and it raised the speculation that the film might be shelved. Also, the recent report suggests that Vikram might replace Suriya in the lead role, but the source close to the team denies the report and says that ‘Aruvaa’ will resume for sure with Suriya.

Suriya will be seen in a dual role as brothers, and it will be the ‘Singam’ actor’s fifth film with director Hari. The reason for the latest rumors about ‘Aruvaa’ is because Vikram is said to reunite with director Hari. Also, Raashi Khanna, who was earlier said to pair up with Suriya, is reported to play the female lead opposite Vikram in Hari’s directorial.

Suriya will start the work for ‘Aruvaa’ once the final preparations are done. Meanwhile, Hari is expected to do a film with Vikram, and he is also reported to join hands with his brother-in-law Arun Vijay for the first time.Chiyaan Vikram, who has collaborated with Hari for his Saami franchise, has two films in his kitty. His film with Ajay Gnanamuthu titled Cobra has been making the headlines ever since it was announced. The makers of the film have also restarted the shooting schedule a couple of days back.
