The domestic collection of the Atlee-directed film has surpassed Rs 300 crore. ‘Jawan’ is the third Bollywood film in 2023 to gross more than Rs 300 crore in India.
According to trade expert Ramesh Bala, ‘Jawan’ has already crossed the Rs 550-crore mark at the box office on a global scale. Meanwhile, according to Box Office Worldwide, “Film should also cross 575 cr worldwide gross, if not 590 crore.”
‘Jawan’ is a box-office success. On Day 1, the film earned Rs 74.50 crore in India across all languages. The film went on to have the biggest opening day in Hindi cinema history, grossing Rs 129.06 crore worldwide. According to trade reports, ‘Jawan’ earned Rs 30 crore in India on Day 5, September 11. As a result, India’s total collection now stands at Rs 316.16 crore. On Sunday, September 10, ‘Jawan’ had an overall occupancy of 32.85 percent.
