Kasargold OTT release date Announced

Following its theatrical release, the crime drama Kasargold, starring Asif Ali, will soon be available on OTT. The plot of the film revolves around gold smuggling and is based on true events that occurred in Kerala. Mridul Nair directed the film, which also stars Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan, Geethi Sangeetha, Malavika Sreenath, and Siddique.

Netflix has bagged the digital rights of Kasargold, and the film will be available to stream from October 13.

Asif plays the role of Alby, who works for a political leader. An accident occurs while smuggling the gold, and he loses the precious metal. Sunny Wayne plays Faisal, who has stolen the gold from Alby and is now on the hunt for it. The main plot of the film follows the typical story of two young men being pursued for the lost gold. Despite its conventional plot, the film’s colour palette, characters, and actors’ appearances give it a quirky edge.
