According to recent updates, the final phase of shooting for “Vettaiyan” commenced in Mumbai on May 2nd, extending over a week. Speculation abounds regarding Rajinikanth’s character, with reports suggesting he portrays a Muslim police officer in this action-packed thriller, purportedly inspired by true events.
Post the completion of the “Vettaiyan” schedule, Rajinikanth, affectionately known as Thalaivar, is slated to dive into his next cinematic endeavor, “Coolie,” a high-octane thriller helmed by director Lokesh Kanagaraj, with shooting scheduled to commence in June. Despite the flurry of rumors, official confirmation regarding the shooting schedule is yet to be provided by the production team.
The film, directed by T J. Gnanavel, who gained acclaim for his work on “Jai Bhim,” initially made headlines with its title announcement in December 2023, coinciding with Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday.
