The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film has been doing well in Kerala since the release of Vijay’s Leo. In fact, the action thriller film has broken the record for the highest opening-day gross. To commemorate the film’s success in the state, the director was scheduled to visit Kochi today at 4 p.m. for a press conference. He was also scheduled to visit a theatre in the city as part of the ‘Kerala Success Meet’ for Leo’s success in the state’s theatre. The event, however, has been rescheduled by Kerala film distributor Gokulam Gopalan.
Fans have been anticipating Lokesh’s feedback and reactions to the success of the Vijay-starrer in Kerala. However, it has now been announced that the event has been postponed. The reason for the rescheduling has not been revealed. The meet, however, has been rescheduled for tomorrow, according to Vijay fanclubs on social media.
Meanwhile, Leo is dominating the global box office, where its inching toward the ₹450 crore mark. On Sunday (October 22), the movie was estimated to have grossed approximately ₹49 crores in India, despite receiving mixed reviews.
