Thalapathy Vijay can be seen fiercely clutching Sanjay’s throat, hinting at an intense clash and face-off between the two in the film. The background fire and explosions amplify the rest of the poster. Sanjay plays the main antagonist, Antony Das aka Devil, in the film. However, there is a twist: he is also rumoured to be Vijay’s father in the film.
“Though the character is modelled as a father on paper, it’s essentially a gangster role,” a source close to the film revealed. Both Sanjay Dutt and Thalapathy Vijay will play gangsters in the film.
The poster was accompanied by a tagline that reads, “Keep Calm and Face the Devil.”
Leo posters in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada were released on social media a few days ago. The Tamil poster depicted fire and an intense-looking Vijay armed with a weapon, while the Telugu and Kannada versions depicted ice and snow, and the Kannada version depicted him with a gun. The taglines on each poster are unique.
While the Telugu poster said, “Keep calm and avoid the battle,” the Kannada version said, “Keep calm and plot your escape,” and the Tamil poster said, “Keep calm and prepare for battle.”
