However, Ant-Man 2 will seemingly shut down the murmurs. As Paul Rudd returns with the sequel of his solo superhero film, the Studios serve what have been waiting for — action, drama and superlative VFX. The trailer of the new Marvel movie has definitely raised the stakes of the upcoming film. It will also serve as the starting-point to Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kang returns significantly in the new video, tempting Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang with the promise of reclaiming lost ‘time’ with Cassie, now played by Kathryn Newton. During the Blip, Scott effectively became an absent parent. Kang induces a trance in Scott, and despite his friends’ cautions, Scott continues to do Kang’s bidding.The trailer teases visuals of the Quantum Realm, which seems to have been expanded majorly this time around. The film also features returning characters such as Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer).
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released in theatres on February 17. It comes after a disappointing couple of years for the MCU, with most films drawing muted fan response, despite being dependably successful at the box office
