In the realm of Indian cinema, the announcement of Superstar Rajinikanth’s next venture, “Vettaiyan,” alongside Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, has set the stage for fervent anticipation. Now, as the project progresses, fresh details have emerged, shedding light on the shooting schedule and Rajinikanth’s role in the film.

According to recent updates, the final phase of shooting for “Vettaiyan” commenced in Mumbai on May 2nd, extending over a week. Speculation abounds regarding Rajinikanth’s character, with reports suggesting he portrays a Muslim police officer in this action-packed thriller, purportedly inspired by true events.

Post the completion of the “Vettaiyan” schedule, Rajinikanth, affectionately known as Thalaivar, is slated to dive into his next cinematic endeavor, “Coolie,” a high-octane thriller helmed by director Lokesh Kanagaraj, with shooting scheduled to commence in June. Despite the flurry of rumors, official confirmation regarding the shooting schedule is yet to be provided by the production team.

The film, directed by T J. Gnanavel, who gained acclaim for his work on “Jai Bhim,” initially made headlines with its title announcement in December 2023, coinciding with Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday. Alongside the dynamic duo of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, “Vettaiyan” boasts an ensemble cast including Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rao Ramesh, Rakshan, G.M. Sundar, and several others in pivotal roles.
