Atlee has been in the headlines for quite some time now, considering how his recent film with Shah Rukh Khan was a huge blockbuster in cinemas and raked in a large sum of money as well. The success of Jawan has made Atlee one of the most sought-after filmmakers in India.
Atlee revealed that he has a script ready for Ajith Kumar and is just waiting on a call from him to get started in an interview with Indian anchor Gobinath. The director stated that although he had attempted to get in touch with Ajith Kumar’s manager, Suresh Chandra, to have the actor narrate the film, things haven’t worked out just yet.
He went on to say that if the movie comes to pass, it will be a huge production that plays in theatres with great excitement.
Furthermore discussed by the director was his first meeting with Ajith Kumar. The filmmaker claimed that while working on their 2013 release, Aarambam, the actress Nayanthara had introduced him to Ajith Kumar. With a questioning gaze, the actor asked, “Have you completed your education? Please finish it, okay?
The director also added that Ajith Kumar called him up and consoled him during a tough time in his life, always being a gentleman.
