Excitement mounts as reports reveal that Rishab Shetty has ambitious plans for the prequel, “Kantara: Chapter 1.” It’s said to set a new standard in Indian filmmaking.

While the first part was made on a modest budget, the second part sees a significant leap with a substantial production budget. Custom-built sets in Rishab Shetty’s hometown of Kundapura, rivaling those of Ramoji Film City, are underway.

The indoor set, spanning 200×200 square feet, boasts state-of-the-art technology with air-conditioning, a dubbing suite, and an editing suite. The makers prioritize top-notch quality, leaving no room for compromise.

Moreover, this endeavor has created numerous job opportunities, with over 600 carpenters and technicians from Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad currently engaged. Actors are also undergoing training in Kalaripayattu and horse-riding, all centralized in Kundapura, maximizing resource utilization.
