In an exclusive interview with Cinema Vikatan, Aishwarya disclosed the unfortunate mishap that befell the production, attributing it to an unforeseen lapse in responsibility. She revealed that approximately 21 days’ worth of crucial footage, including a pivotal cricket match scene shot with a sophisticated ten-camera setup, was inexplicably lost.
The director elaborated on the challenges faced during filming, citing issues arising from changes in character appearances by actors Vishnu, Senthil, and Rajinikanth, commonly referred to as “Appa” by his fans. Despite considering the possibility of reshooting the lost scenes, the logistical complexities and compromises involved led the team to opt for editing with the surviving footage.
