In honour of Sita Navami, the Adipurush filmmakers have released a brand-new motion poster featuring Kriti Sanon, whose role in the film is based on Sita from the Hindu epic Ramayana. With the uplifting Jai Siya Ram playing in the background, Kriti is introduced in the clip as Janaki. Kriti portrays Janaki in the motion poster wearing a beige saree and a saffron dupatta, and she looks ethereal.

The grandly staged film “Adipurush,” directed by Om Raut, is described as a “Ramayana adaptation.” The movie will make its world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York before heading to theatres. When discussing the subject, Raut had stated, “We wanted to tell the story of Shri Ram and the “Ramayana” to the young people not only in our country but also around the world. We are able to meet one of our goals thanks to the opportunity to exhibit your work on a major stage like Tribeca. The director had previously promised to provide stunning visuals, saying, “Challenges are always present, but that will only improve our cinema and journey. Especially with a movie like this, which is a first for India and uses technology seen in blockbuster Hollywood movies like “Avatar,” “Marvels,” and “DC.”

Prabhas plays Raghava, Kriti plays Janaki, Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, Sunny Singh plays Lakshmana, and Devdatta Nage plays Hanuman in the movie “Adipurush.” The movie is slated to premiere on June 16.
