In a surprising turn of events for fans eagerly awaiting the next installment of the “Don” franchise, rumors are swirling that Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan may be making a special appearance as the iconic don character in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film “King.”
Originally made famous by Amitabh Bachchan and later reprised by Shah Rukh Khan himself, the role of Don has garnered immense popularity among audiences. However, when news broke that Ranveer Singh would be stepping into the shoes of the infamous don in “Don 3,” many fans were left disappointed at the absence of SRK.
Now, with whispers circulating on social media platforms, hopes are once again high for SRK enthusiasts. It’s speculated that Shah Rukh Khan will grace the screen as a don character with long grey hair, adding a new dimension to his portrayal. Reports suggest that his character will be intricately layered with shades of grey, promising an intriguing performance from the veteran actor.
Adding to the anticipation, Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo appearance is said to be in “King,” a film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and featuring his daughter, Suhana Khan, in the lead role. Alongside them, Fahim Fazil is reported to play a pivotal character in this action-packed thriller.
Produced by Siddharth Anand and Gouri Khan, filming for “King” is expected to commence in September 2024, setting the stage for what could be a monumental return for Shah Rukh Khan to the silver screen in his signature don avatar.
