Nitesh Tiwari has officially initiated the shooting for the much-anticipated cinematic rendition of the Indian epic, Ramayana. The magnum opus boasts a stellar ensemble cast, with Ranbir Kapoor set to portray the iconic role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Yash as the formidable Ravana.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Tiwari, along with producer Namit Malhotra, has successfully enlisted the expertise of two globally acclaimed composers, Oscar-winners Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, to helm the musical score for Ramayana. Zimmer, renowned for his illustrious contributions to cinematic masterpieces such as The Lion King, Man of Steel, Interstellar, Dark Knight Trilogy, and Inception, among others, is poised to make his debut in the Indian film industry with this project.

A source close to the production team revealed to the portal, “Hans Zimmer is gearing up to make his debut in the Indian film industry with Ramayana. Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari have always been vocal about their global vision for this Indian epic and they are leaving no stone unturned to make that a reality. Hans Zimmer is also fascinated by the vision for the story of Lord Ram and is all ready to compose the score of Ramayana.”

The collaboration between Tiwari, Malhotra, Zimmer, and Rahman underscores a concerted effort to elevate the cinematic experience of Ramayana to unprecedented heights, promising audiences a visual and auditory spectacle of epic proportions.
